The Shaneh Tarash cooperative began its operations in December 2018 (Azar 1397) with the aim of sustainable development, job creation, preserving the traditional fabric of the village, and protecting the environment, with 17 initial members. Within one year, 95% of the native residents of the village had become members of this cooperative.
Through facilitation, the injection of low-interest loans, and strengthening the production-to-sales chain, the village’s position in the tourism sector has reached a favorable point.
