The Ritual of Mal Shuran or Gosfand Shuran
The traditional event of “Gosfand Shuran” or “Mal Shuran” is performed by the hardworking herders of Shaneh Tarash in Tonekabon.
This event usually takes place before the “Gosfandobini” (sheep shearing) ritual, so that the sheep’s wool can be washed and cleaned, making the shearing process easier. This ritual is typically held at the beginning of the month of Mehr (around October) each year.
