Waste Collection Campaign: From Concern to Community Action
The Waste Collection Campaign in Shaneh Tarash is a community-driven initiative designed to restore cleanliness in our streets and natural spaces. With coordinated teamwork and consistent effort, we can significantly reduce litter, prevent waste from entering waterways and ecosystems, and improve public health. This campaign is not just about cleaning—it’s about creating a culture where environmental responsibility becomes a shared habit.
What We Do
Participants come together at scheduled locations to collect waste safely and responsibly. Whenever possible, volunteers separate recyclables to support proper waste management and reduce landfill burden. Our goal is to make public spaces safer, cleaner, and more welcoming for everyone—whether they’re families walking in the park, students commuting, or neighbors enjoying local streets.
