According to the Heritage Aria reporter, Dariush Rahim Mashaei said on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 (5 Khordad 1405) during a meeting held with the aim of signing a cooperation memorandum of understanding to strengthen rural employment between the Rural Development Cooperative Company of Shaneh Tarash 2000 in Tonekabon, the Agricultural Jihad Management, and the Omid Entrepreneurship Fund: “This memorandum of understanding was signed in line with the development of cooperative activities and support for the production of healthy and organic products.”
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Tonekabon County added: In this meeting, emphasis was placed on the necessity of expanding the cultivation and production of healthy and organic products, utilizing local and indigenous capacities, and strengthening the chain from production to market.
Referring to the role of cooperatives in the economic development of villages and increasing farmers’ income, he stated: In this meeting, an agreement was reached on the importance of improving the quality of agricultural products, using the technical, educational, and supportive capacities of Agricultural Jihad to increase productivity, improve production processes, and develop the cultivation of organic products in the region.
Rahim Mashaei enumerated examining solutions for providing financial resources and enabling cooperative members to benefit from bank facilities and credits as one of the most important axes of this meeting and said: In this regard, Omid Entrepreneurship Fund has emphasized providing financial support through the Cooperative Development Bank and the Entrepreneurship Fund to support productive, employment-generating, and developmental projects.
In conclusion, the attendees expressed hope that the implementation of this memorandum of understanding could pave the way for strengthening organic production, creating sustainable job opportunities, effectively supporting farmers, and developing the rural economy in Tonekabon County, and play an important role in the prosperity of the agricultural sector in the region.
